My New Camera

I just got a new camera called the Canon HF S100

Here a few things I’ve shot while out and about in Los Angeles.

These clips are HD resolution so they might take a bit longer to load.

The amazing thing about this camera is it’s only the size of a soda can and it records to SD cards instead of tape at 24p full HD resolution. It’s amazing!

    hi Aaron - came across this site while researching the HFS10/100 - great vids! love the music in the background too (especially in Test2, though Test1 sounds cool too). Can you tell me what the artist/song title is for those movies? thanks!

    Wait, I thought you were just playing around when you said he wears makeup.... anyway, AWESOME CAMERA!!!!!!! It produces such clear images! AND it's the size of a soda can?! Unreal.

    Thanks for checking out my site. It's funny I have a Norwegian cousin named Hans, who's also a film maker. I've been to Norway several times (Lillehammer). It's a beautiful country.

    Anyway everything was shot without a tripod. It was just me and the camera. I loaded everything up into my Apple Macbook Pro and edited it all in Final Cut Pro 6. All I did "effects" wise was some color correction in a plugin for Final Cut Pro called looks.

    I stumpled upon these two vids on YT while researching for my first camera. Good stuff, great clips.
    As i have pretty much zero filming/editing experience, i'm curious about the details of these clips. Did you use any effects? record-setup? render-setup? Any info would be appreciated.

  • Nah man, he just has that thing right out there in the open. It's really funny. I love the fact that it's striped with Pantone colors!

    I did ...but I didn't think he would be so overt about it...I would of thought that he would carry the purse inside a backpack or at least laptop bag. Oh well creative people are weird or maybe just Chileans?! :)
  • If you read my other post about him, you'd know that he keeps his makeup in that bag.
