Couldn't agree more - lets do it! However, this is the first time I have heard of any teacher not bringing a lesson plan to school. I was a teacher in the south Bronx and Bridgeport CT and had to turn lesson plans in weekly. My daughter is a kindergartner at Ivanhoe Elementary in Silverlake, where I volunteer almost daily. I have witnessed daily organization and lesson plans being created and implemented. perhaps that and the ever present parent involvement is the reason why it is one of the best elementary public schools in LA. It's sad that they all cant be Ivanhoes.
